Research & Sourcing Standards

  • All regulatory claims are verified against current Health Canada, NHPD, ICH, USP, and applicable provincial guidelines.
  • Scientific claims cite peer-reviewed research, official regulatory publications (Health Canada Guidance Documents, NNHPD Compendium of Monographs), or accreditation body documentation where available.
  • We do not rely solely on secondary sources β€” primary regulatory texts and official method references are consulted directly.
  • Statistics and data points are verified before publication. Where estimates are used, they are labelled as such.

Review Process

Before publication, every article and service page is reviewed by a subject matter expert on our team with relevant credentials in laboratory testing or Canadian regulatory affairs. Content involving NHP claims, drug regulations, or GMP requirements is reviewed with particular care.

Update & Correction Policy

Regulations change. We review our service pages and blog posts on a regular cadence:

  • Service pages: reviewed semi-annually or whenever Health Canada updates relevant guidance.
  • Blog posts: reviewed annually. Significant updates are noted with a "Last reviewed" date at the top of the article.
  • Corrections: if we identify a factual error, we correct it promptly and note the correction at the bottom of the affected page.

To report an error, contact [email protected].
